Clinical experience:
Anne brings a range of professional experiences to the CNU social work team including her clinical work in inpatient care at BIDMC; at a residential substance use treatment program where she facilitated group therapy and provided individual counseling; and in a community mental health clinic. Prior to pursuing a social work career, Anne co-founded and operated a community non-profit to promote mental health and substance use prevention awareness, education and resources.
Clinical interests:
Anne values being a part of a multidisciplinary team in the CNU where she provides clinical social work services to patients, caregivers and families as they navigate life transitions and adjust to chronic illness. She supports several neurology clinics including the Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence clinic. Her clinical approach incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and narrative therapy.
