During her undergraduate education in psychology at Bridgewater State University, Taylor worked with substance abuse and mental health populations at Highpoint Hospital. In addition, she completed internships at both Rhode Island Hospital’s Neuropsychology unit and at McLean Hospital’s Behavioral Health Partial program. Taylor conducted research on sleep and cognition at BSU as well as Boston University’s Vision and Cognition Laboratory and presented her work at both national and international conferences. After graduating from BSU with a BS degree in psychology, Taylor joined the CNU to gain more knowledge of and experience in the field of clinical neuropsychology. Later on, Taylor plans to work in research involving topics such as sleep, cognition, mindfulness/meditation, and clinical interventions for cognitive impairments as she pursues a PhD in clinical neuropsychology.
