Education is an important aspect of the mission of the Cognitive Neurology Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. We strive to provide our staff with the most recent information regarding diagnosis and care of patients with complex neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders as well as information on the latest research and treatment methodologies. We accomplish this by our weekly clinical rounds which combine discussions of clinical case studies as well as research presentations. These rounds are run in conjunction with Harvard Medical School to provide Continuing Education credits (CME) for practicing physicians and psychologists.

We have recognized training opportunities for neurologists, neuropsychologists and social workers, offered by fellowships and practicum training.

Finally, in conjunction with the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation, a number of training opportunities are offered, via regular courses, classes, and an online learning portal.
