I am a staff physician in Cognitive Neurology Unit at the BIDMC. I received a M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. I trained in neurology at the BIDMC and completed a behavioral neurology and neurorehabilitation fellowship at the BIDMC in conjunction with the memory disorders clinic at the Boston VA Medical Center. I am board certified in neurology and behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry.
I have ongoing research involving the effects of frontal lobes injury on memory and the role of seizures in consolidation of memory.
I have two ongoing rehabilitation research projects. The first involves the use of noninvasive electrical stimulation for memory remediation. The second involves the development of computerized augmented reality glasses to treat visuo-vestibular disorders such as hemispatial neglect.
