Brief Narrative:
Dr. Eric Connors is a Boston native who completed his undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He received his doctoral degree from Alliant International University in San Diego, CA, and he completed a neuropsychology internship at Tewksbury Hospital. Dr. Connors also completed a two-year neuropsychology fellowship at Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program. During his fellowship, he conducted comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with Veterans and Service Members with past head injuries, a history of extensive low-level blast exposures, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Dr. Connors joined the BIDMC Cognitive Neurology Unit in 2021. His clinical specialty involves the neuropsychological evaluation of cognitive, behavioral, and socioemotional functioning of individuals with acquired brain injury, comorbid medical and psychiatric conditions, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder), or dementia-type conditions. Through the BIDMC Brain Fit Club, Dr. Connors also provides evidence-based cognitive rehabilitation to help individuals optimize their attention, memory, and overall cognitive functioning in daily life.
