Brief Narrative:
Dr. Subramanian attended Brown University for undergraduate education and thereafter pursued medical school at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine. At Iowa, she earned research distinction and studied methylation patterns of psychiatric disorders. Upon graduation, she trained at Washington University in St. Louis through the Research Education Program. Her research focused on treatment-resistant depression, ketamine, and electroconvulsive therapy. Dr. Subramanian joined the CNU as a Sidney R., Baer Fellow in Clinical Neurosciences to gain further clinical and research training in neuromodulation techniques for psychiatric illnesses.
Personal Interests/Hobbies:
Dr. Subramanian enjoys cycling, exploring the Boston food scene, cooking, and spending time with her dog.
