Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Clinic

For these patients, concerns are approached at every appropriate angle including:

• Memory and Cognitive Difficulties
• Behavioral and Emotional Issues
• Physical Disabilities
• Sleep disturbance
• Pain

Our aim is to provide care that is age- and developmentally appropriate. The NDD clinic team has experience in caring for people with developmental, behavioral, sensory, and communication differences.  To best meet the needs of our patients, doctors from adult and pediatric neurology work together closely, and each patient will be seen by a clinician from both adult cognitive neurology at BIDMC, as well as child neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Because the problems presented by patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities are complex, many patients will require assessment by additional members of the team, or referrals to additional specialists.
