Clinical Experience:
After completing her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania, Gillian worked as a Neurology Social Worker at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. There, she provided a range of services to patients and supported them in their transition out of the hospital. Gillian then moved to Boston to continue her career at BIDMC. Gillian provides counseling and therapeutic services to patients and families being seen in the Cognitive Neurology Unit. She enjoys integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches to help patients foster a sense of resilience as well as rediscover personal meaning and dignity in the face of medical changes.
Personal Interests:
Writing poetry, cooking, spending time with her cat, and discovering new ice cream spots.
